If you ever wondered what your grandmother would look like if she decided to get sexy with it while letting your 13-year-old nephew practice his video-making skills, you’re in luck because WE HAVE THE FOOTAGE.

And yeah, they’re calling it a “Prince video” buuuut I’m not buying it. Prince would rain purple tears on this shit for a hundred years.

New Boards of Canada song debuted in Japan last night!

Zooey Deschanel has shared a self-directed video for She & Him’s wistful “I Could’ve Been Your Girl” via her website, Hello Giggles. Deschanel says it’s inspired by her favorite 1960s musicals. She dances throughout the clip, and her bandmate, M. Ward, appears as a mean-looking café patron. (He’s credited as “The Star”.)

“I Could’ve Been Your Girl” is off the just-released  Volume 3 from Merge.

You’re welcome. And I’m sorry.

(IKYMI, this is who.)

Well, it’s going to take roughly 20 seconds for Lana del Rey’s people to have this unreleased song taken down so get while the gettin’s good.

Lana Del Rey just released her track Young And Beautiful and now we’ve got the tip on a leak of a previously unreleased track! Queen of Disaster was apparently made in 2011. It is registered to the Harry Fox Agency and was written by Del Rey and Chris Braide and produced by Chris Braide as well. The track seems a lot more uplifting than Lana’s slightly darker sound, so Queen of Disaster comes off as more fresh. Chris Braide also worked on Million Dollar Man.
